We chatted with Mark Mastroianni from Freestyle Joinery about the Dee Why project:
What stone did you use? Calacatta Vagli in the kitchen and Verde Alpi Marble in the laundry.
What was the client’s brief? The client wanted the kitchen island to look like a solid block.
Were they involved in the stone selection? Yes, we always consult our clients about selections. With this particular project, the clients wanted an extra long kitchen bench, so they waited for the slabs of Calacatta Vagli to arrive from Italy as they were almost 3400mm long.
What was the client’s reaction when seeing the finished result? Absolutely amazed by the results.
