HAPPY CLIENT SNIPPETS FROM THE FEATURE
“Kate also included Kylie in the ‘shopping’ process, and the two took a trip to Cav’art Designer Stone to choose surfaces for the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms. “I’ve never used stone in any of my other renovations, and I loved the whole experience,” says Kylie. “As soon as I saw the slab of Taj Mahal quartzite, I fell in love with it. Being worked so beautifully by Stone Lab and seeing the material come to life has made it one of my favourite features. I just love my island bench.”
“Another standout feature for Kylie is a curved wall in the living area that is home to the television and fireplace. One of her pet hates is conventional television units, so Kate came up with the concept of a curved wall to make it a feature. Joiner Javier Favaro constructed the wall using steel struts and Kylie’s favourite natural stone was incorporated into the design just below the fireplace – one of Lito’s requests. “When the grandkids come over, they all sit along the stone, which makes me love it even more,” says Kylie.”
